About
Sending crypto should be as easy as a name.
Glitter Gold Tag started with one annoyance: destination tags. Every time you send to an exchange you dig up a long address and a number, and if the number is missing or wrong the money can disappear into a support queue.
Name services fixed the long address, but not the tag. So we built Glitter Tags: one simple name, like @tommymidnight, that carries both the address and its destination tag or memo, for every chain. Set it once and forget it.
What we believe
- Your keys, your money. We're not a wallet and never will be. We never hold keys or funds.
- Nobody in the middle. Wallets check your signature themselves, so they don't have to trust us.
- Simple names. Two formats, no endings to buy, the @ optional.
- Open. The Glitter Tags format is an open standard, free for any wallet or exchange.
Part of the Glitter family
Glitter Gold Tag sits alongside Glitter Legacy and our other tools for people who hold crypto themselves.
